Fusilli with Greens and Ocean Naturals® Albacore Solid Tuna


(Serves 2-4)

Prep/Cook time: 30-40 minutes

1 can Ocean Naturals® Albacore Solid Tuna in Olive Oil
4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
6 Whole Garlic Cloves Crushed
¼ tsp Red Chili Flakes
2 cup Swiss Chard (stems removed, rough chop)
8oz Dried Fusilli (pasta)

Toasted Breadcrumbs (optional)
¼ cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp. olive oil
Add oil to a medium/small sauté pan on low heat, then add breadcrumbs and stir every 30 seconds until light golden brown.


To start, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Next, heat a large sauté pan on medium high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the olive oil, garlic and sauté until light golden brown. Then, add the chili flakes and swiss chard, turn heat to low. Add ½ cup pasta water, cover pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes until chard is wilted and tender, then turn off heat.

Cook the fusilli pasta per package instructions. When you pasta in ready add to your pan. Turn the heat back on to medium setting, add Ocean Naturals tuna and gently toss all ingredients together. Once the sauce starts to simmer turn off the heat. If your pasta sauce seems a little dry, add a splash of water. Add salt to taste and garnish with toasted breadcrumbs and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
