Arrabbiata Pasta with Ocean Naturals® Albacore Tuna Flakes


(Serves 2)
Prep/Cook time: 25-35 minutes

1 jar Ocean Naturals® Albacore Tuna Flakes with Jalapeno & Piquillo Peppers
3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 tbsp Garlic Chopped
3 Tbsp Italian Parsley Chopped
1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 cup Tomato Puree
8oz Dried Spaghetti


To start, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Next, heat a large sauté pan on medium high heat. Once the pan is hot, add olive oil, garlic, parsley and chili flakes. Sauté until light golden brown then add tomato puree and turn off heat.

Cook your spaghetti per package instructions. When you pasta is ready, add to your pan of tomato sauce along with ½ cup of pasta water. Turn the heat back on to medium setting, add the tuna and gently toss all ingredients together. Once the sauce starts to simmer, turn off the heat. If your pasta sauce seems a little thick you can always add a splash more of water. Add salt to taste and garnish with some fresh parsley.
